The Lucky Dip Cheese Box

The Lucky Dip Box does exactly what it says on the tin!

Until we actually come to make up your box, even we don’t know what’s going to be in it.

As we cut cheese for the counter and for orders, we’re often left with perfectly lovely smaller pieces. In the shop that’s no problem at all — we can sell you whatever size piece you fancy — but online our cheeses are sold in 100g increments.

And that’s where the Lucky Dip Box comes in.

We’ll gather together a selection of these smaller pieces and turn them into a wonderfully varied cheeseboard. You’ll definitely get hard, soft and blue cheese, but after that, anything could happen. There might be goat’s cheese, something smoked, a washed rind, a flavoured cheese… it really is a lucky dip.

We’ll also add a box of crackers and a jar of chutney, and we’ll make sure the total value of everything in your box is at least £30.

Every box is different, so this one’s for the adventurous cheese eater — or anyone who’d much rather have lots of little pieces to try than fewer larger ones.

Jen’s note: One of the joys of buying cheese from us in the shop is that you can ask for whatever size piece you fancy. The Lucky Dip Box lets us do something similar online — lots of smaller pieces, plenty to discover and absolutely no idea what you’re getting until we pack it!
