The cheese combines the classic creaminess of a young Gouda cheese with the richness of truffles for a mouthful of pure decadence.The unmistakable taste of the truffles really complements this cheese and it is one of our best selling flavour-added cheeses.
This is a traditionally made farmhouse Gouda with the addition of Italian black truffles spread throughout its paste. The cheeses are matured for just 8 weeks to obtain the right level of balance between the cheese and the truffle. The paste is smooth and supple with an unmistakably earthy taste of truffle. It is a true farmhouse cheese meaning that the cows live on the same farm as the dairy so their milk travels just a few metres before being turned into this fantastic cheese!
This cheese has previously won 2 stars in the Guild of Fine Food’s Great Taste Awards.
